" As long as stippling the grip of you FNP 45 does not alter the functionality of your firearm then it should not affect the warranty. Otherwise, parts and labor for such a restoration are payable by the owner of the firearm. In the manual it states that FNH USA reserves the right to refuse servicing a firearm which has been modified by removal of metal from the barrel, modifications of the firing mechanism and/or other parts, and will, in such a case, always recommend restoring the firearm to its original specifications in order to be covered under warranty. In the meantime, I put on some grip tape that makes it feel too grippy for me. In any case, I had already emailed FNH about it, and this morning received a very good response. Someone then suggested that I get it in writing. I called them and was told if the stippling didn't affect the functionality of the gun, that it was alright to have it done. I received several very good responses, some suggesting I contact FNH to see. A few weeks ago I started a thread asking if stippling the grip on my FNP-45 USG would affect the warranty.
